St, Giles Anglican Church is deeply saddened to learn that the remains of 215 children have been found in unmarked graves at the site of the residential school in Kamloops, BC.

139 schools were running in Canada from 1831 to 1996. An estimated 150, 000 Indigenous children were taken to these schools.

An estimated 6,000 children died at these schools and countless numbers were severely abused.
